- DEADLINES: Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.
- COTTAGE FOOD VENDORS: Handcrafted prepackaged homemade foods may be sold with the appropriate permit in plain view. The standard sidewalk booths are available to these vendors.
- FOOD VENDOR: Vendor selling food and drinks that may be consumed at the event. Food vendors will pursue their activities exclusively; must sell food and beverage only in the designated food booths. Food vendors must not compete with other food vendors on main entree and stand alone snacks (ie. Boiled peanuts, popcorn, snow cones/Italian ice). Prepared food must have a valid temporary food service permit posted in clear public view. You are required to contact the Glynn County DPH office. Concession trailers have designated parking spaces and must not extend into the street or partially block the sidewalk. All waste, including grease and oil, cannot be dumped and must be taken away from the park by the food vendor.
- DRINK VENDORS: “Drinks only” may be sold with the appropriate permit in plain view. The standard sidewalk booths are available to these vendors.
- NON-FOOD/DRINK VENDORS: Vendors selling fine art , handcrafted goods vintage and antique items. No MLM vendors or service vendors will be allowed.
- BOOTHS: A ticket company is used for booth registration. Each “ticket” is assigned to a corresponding booth. Booth spaces are marked using the slightly darker red pavers along the edge of the sidewalk. Please see venue layout map. Vendors may not extend into adjacent booths or walkways without the permission. Vendors are encouraged to utilize their own tables, chairs and secured overhead cover, if applicable. The leg of each canopy used by the vendor must have at least 40 pounds of weight on each leg. Nothing can be staked or inserted into the ground. Booth spaces are to be kept clean at all times. Trash receptacles and dumpsters are provided. Booths will not be refunded or resold.
- POWER: Postell Park has 120vac receptacles spaced throughout. Vendors are allowed to use power at their booths but the availability of power is not guaranteed. For safety reasons, generators are not allowed, except for food vendors’ mounted Inverter generators, which must be quiet. Vendors are not allowed to have extension cords exposed in the booth or in the sidewalks, creating a trip hazard.
- EVENT TIMELINE: Set up time on Friday is from noon to 8 pm. Vendors can set up on Saturday morning but must be ready by 10 am. Saint Simons Market will be open Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm. Saint Simons Market provides overnight security Friday and Saturday nights but cannot held responsible for theft or weather damage. Events will not be rescheduled.
6b. In the unlikely situation that the State of Georgia or Glynn County shuts down public events due to health concerns or hurricane, refunds will be generated after the dates affected have passed. - VEHICLES: Vehicles are allowed in Postell Park but must be moved after being unloaded. Vehicles with trailers are encouraged to park at Mallery Park Baseball Field. Vendors cannot drive on the grass or sidewalks.
- 8. Restricted items:
a. Adult subject craft items including profanity, drug paraphernalia or obscene subject matter.
b. Crafts with trademark logos or names.
c. Alcoholic beverages cannot be sold or consumed.
d. Any vendor not willing to comply with these rules will be immediately removed and their booth fee forfeited.
e. Glynn Events reserves the right to make any decision final. By purchasing booth space, the vendor agrees to the rules and disclaimers for the event.
DISCLAIMERS
- Vendors will be held responsible for any damage that they have caused or have allowed to occur.
- Vendors will hold harmless Glynn Events for any damages or loss of business that may occur outside of the actions of Glynn Events.
- The extent of Glynn Events’ liabilities will be limited to the contracted amount.
- This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. In the event of suit involving or relating to this agreement, the legal venue shall be Glynn County, Georgia. In the event that a civil action arises in an effort to enforce any provision of this agreement, the losing party shall pay reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs of the prevailing party.
